The Centre for Multilateral Affairs (CfMA) is headed by the Chief Executive Officer. The Advisory Board is the highest decision-making body of the organisation. All Programme areas are headed by Directors. Our expertise is in the fields of Political Science, Social Sciences, International Relations and Public Policy. The team is committed to guiding, promoting and transforming the organization to a reputable, leading, trusted and non-partisan Centre of excellence based on knowledge generation, reproduction and dissemination to shape and transform society. The Board of Directors of CfMA consist of a multi-talented group of experts who contribute to the vision and mission of the organisation.
The organization’s overarching vision and mission is enacted based on principles of excellence, integrity, team work and non-discrimination. We are interested in integrating global south perspectives in domestic, regional and global policy discourses.
We believe the perspectives of global south deeply lacks at multi-stakeholder policy discussions and we hope to bridge that gap. But, we are also interested in relaying discussions at the global level and bringing the debates, opinions, discussions and perspectives back to the ground – domestically. For instance, discussions at UN level while it lacks the perspectives of global south in certain fora example the works of the UN First Committee through the Group of Governmental Experts (GGE) and the Open Ended Working Group (OEWG) in context of discussion at UN on State Behavior within the rubric of international peace and security, such discussions and debates can also be brought back down at the local level – to stimulate further localized inputs and opinions from diverse groups of actors
