Migration – which is the movement of people over national boarders is one of the greatest contemporary phenomenon the globe is facing. There are legal and recorded as well as illegal migration. Migration can be voluntary and involuntary. Refugees, asylum seekers and modern slave traders, for instance are issues to deal with. Migration, however, is an integral part of global transformation. We also confront other transnational challenges including violent extremism and religious fundamentalism among others. Our collaboration with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Uganda & South Sudan will explore migration and forced displacement trends, insights and perspectives for the period 2022-2023
