Israel Sheila

Manager, Policy and Strategy

Israel Sheila is working as the Policy and Strategy Manager at the Centre for Multilateral Affairs (CfMA). She leads the development and implementation of policy research and analysis strategies, oversees and participates in the development of reports, surveys and briefings while engaging policy makers at National, Regional and Global levels.

Sheila is an alumnus of the 2017 African School on Internet Governance. She as well participated in the “youth and smart cities” project that was themed on technological development in urban cities in 2016 at the University of Groningen in Netherlands. In 2014 while in Oruchinga refugee settlement as a social worker under the Humanitarian Initiative for Just Relief Aid, she worked towards empowering the youth in techno innovations and helped in gender-based violence awareness projects.

She holds s (Hons) Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Social Sciences and Master’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Studies from Makerere University.
