Director/Head, Internet Governance & Strategic Partnerships

Venance Leonard Ntahondi has over 8 years of substantive civil society engagement and is skilled in building coalitions, designing and executing outreach strategy to advocate for key regulatory policies. His areas of expertise include Governance and development, Internet, human rights and gender advocacy.He is also passionate about Public Policy, Security studies and strategic intelligence. He serves as Director/Head Internet Governance & Strategic Partnerships at the Centre for Multilateral Affairs (CfMA). Venance also heads Strategy and Partnership Development at the CfMA. His recent research work focuses on Authoritarianism and internet governance in Tanzania. Venance holds M.A in International Relations and Diplomatic Studies from Makerere University, Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Governance from Uganda Management Institute, B.A Education (in Linguistics) from University of Arusha and Diploma in Education (Psychology and ICT) from Morogoro College. He commands English and Swahili Languages with a fair knowledge in German, Spanish, French and Arabic languages.
